State Representative Sarah Capp is an attorney practicing at Capp Law Firm in Ozark. She graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s in political science and later earned her Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law.

State Rep. Capp previously served as the City Attorney for Altus and is now Counsel for the city. Sarah serves as a public defender in Franklin County and handles all felonies and misdemeanors. She has worked as a Public Defender for the past14 years.
Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed Sarah as a Special Justice to the Arkansas Supreme Court in May 2015. The Governor later appointed her to serve on the board of directors for the Arkansas Development Finance Authority in 2016.
Sarah has been awarded the First Branch Award by the Arkansas Judicial Council, is a member of the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, as well as the Arkansas Bar Association.
She and her family attend First United Methodist Church in Ozark and she is also a member of the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce.
